Chanel.

Ah, Chanel. The stuff that dreams are made of. Even when wandering the website, the MUSIC puts you in an outstanding mood. I would love to walk around their workshops & studios, just to get a glimpse and take pictures of what's going on behind the scenes. As we all know, that's where the real magic is made. I would even settle for going to a fashion show! But all things in due time...and moving on...

All the pieces that are and have ever been are effortlessly classic. There are not many designers that can master such a feat. I have a few pieces in my closet- but they cannot come out to play simply because they are too, too precious. They live next to the rare pieces I have found and acquired from other designers that shall not be mentioned. 

The Chanel line for 2009-2010 Fall/Winter is almost Shakespearean in their own right. Simple, yet they move and sway like no other. Truly inspirational for this Tuesday morning.

I am so glad I mention Chanel in my manuscript :D
