the whole truth.

see that photo?
please look at it clearly.
yes.
i did it :)

i published a book.
lookie- my name's there...
this is what i've been toiling over/relishing/going crazy over
since i've been back in the states.

i am so happy-
that this opportunity presented itself to me,
and that my love of writing/history/photography/
and piecing everything together
has bought this to pass.

so...yes.
just a na-na-na-na-poo-poo
to the people who fueled my fire
and pushed me to accomplish yet something else
that is freaking amazing.

and it's just the beginning :)

learn more about my signings, reading and events, here

and thank you so much
for your kind e-mails, comments, texts, and snail mail.

you
are
fantastic!!

warmest,
globetrotting gamine

over and out :)

well, hello there friends!

how are you? i hope everything is great in your world!
I am GG's assistant, pup. A lot of you guys know me by name- but that's not important.
what's in a name really?- anyway...

i figured i would wake up and stop by to say hello
Hiiii
since my Mama is working on this huge, huge
 writing and photography project
and has been on the phone booking appointments
with VIPs
for the last two days.

i'm sure she needs lots of help and support,
and even though i don't have thumbs, i inspire her
as much as i can.

so please leave a comment
or a note
for me or my mama!
and we will get back to you as fast as we humanly can
since we may be on a tiny hiatus...

sending out lots of love
and cookies to my pup friends--
Vasi the Pup

vineyard visions. sigh.

vineyard visions...

during the winter,
i especially miss
spending the weekend
in long island wine country
with the best friends
a girl could ever have...

and i miss picnics :)

love the hermit crabs

we've hit a lot of places on this
teeny earth of ours--
and on the island of bonaire
as i prepared to go for a swim...
i almost squashed these guys!

i saved their lives
but wanted to snap some pictures
before they hit the road :)

i love them.

out, damned spot, out i say!

according to popular beliefs...
a black cat crossing your path is bad luck.
i don't believe it-
because i had good luck the whole day of this photo shoot!

thanks for posing, meow-meow!

love me,

loving life in salem

how beautiful was salem- i am so sorry i can't stop talking about it. that's why i gave it a rest for a few days!

as an avid traveller, i am always supremely thankful to God and the Universe that i get the chance to experience beautiful places, cultures, people, etc.

life can't get any better.

i beg you to visit and explore everything you can when you get there- if you're a major history buff like i am, you will not be diappointed.

though if you are anything like me, you will probably want to sit right outside the area of the gallows and cry.

now, on to my manuscript- i'll be writing about new people and situations in salem. i will definitely let you know when it gets published ;)

much love,
the globetrotting gamine

love equals salem

upon arriving in Salem, I was in love. Well, maybe a little before arriving... :)

if you've known me since I was tiny, you would know that visiting Salem, MA was on my bucket list- in the top 5!

Cobblestone streets and such a rich history, albeit sad really pulls you in.
Love love love.

We met people that were incredibly smart and inspiring, and super-friendly.

Um, the food? The bookstores? Everything?

I would move to Salem in a heartbeat.

So thank you, universe- for bringing me to Salem!! I will happily go again at your request.

love me,
the globetrotting gamine

the best season

dear october--
thank you for being beautiful...
for apple cider and hot toddies,
for pumpkin pie and banana bread baking,
for the harvest,
for the usage of our hoodies
and allowing us to snuggle up in front of the fire with hot chocolate.

for friends and loved ones to share it all with...
for puppies dressed up in new gear and costumes, or just a sweater...

for ghosties and ghoulies, without all the gore,
apple picking and haunted corn mazes..

for all this and more.

thank you!!
