Harlem Brewery

A few months ago, we had the incredible honor of meeting the folks over at Harlem Brewery at an event...

we fell in love with their Sugar Hill Brew! we also continued to tell everyone about it and can't wait to meet them at future venues!

We think you guys are great!

first now last stop!

iron hill was the place we were supposed to hit first...
but we  hit it at the absolute end of our road trip!

it was so awesome- from the beers
to the nachos...
and sweet potato fries?

total heaven.

i wish this was dinner tonight.

i loved these places-
and the dinner at gordon biersch was so good-
i really have no idea why i don't have any photos of it!
i must look around...
we may have been in beer-stupor heaven.

so lucky to have gone on this road trip!

evolution craft brewing company

rating high
on our 'yummiest' brewery/beer chart
was evolution craft.

we had a lot of fun here,
in salisbury
and wish we could have stayed longer to
enjoy it all!

we are now obsessed with breweries...
and craft beer-
and quite excited about it!

it was totally worth the whole trip!

the pickled pig

going on a road trip can be bad for two reasons:

the fattening and AMAZING food you're going to eat...

and the fact that you know you have to detox when you get home.

though, it is all worth it.

it really, truly is.

we had a recommendation 

to head on over to 'the pickled pig pub'.

with a name like that, how can you NOT go?

2 words:

fried.

pickles.

oh my word.

i am thinking they were beer-battered, though it mattered not

these were so good it was quite ridiculous

and inspired me to do the same

one day at home

for my dinner menu.

we were delighted about the lunch-fare as well.

(i had the warm pretzel turkey sandwich-

another cool thing to make!)

all in all-

i so recommend this place.

and will dream about it often.

road trip: brewery archive

these are some shots-
from the dogfish head brewery
in deleware.
the story of this brewery is totally inspirational,
especially since the creator/owner/inventor started out in his apartment
and blossomed into different facets of business.

i just loved this story
and this place...

and the bitch brew beer!
