jellyfish around the world

i have been to quite a few places,
and i have learned that
when it comes to nature
you can never be too careful.
so the next time you're at the beach,
please remember:
 the above photo is expected.
expected.

 NOT a plastic bag.
VERY unexpected
 unexpected!
(as usual, all photos unless otherwise noted are shot by me!)

even these guys run away from their blue creepy cousins.

Blue Jellyfish as told by wikipedia:

Cyanea lamarckii has a blue or yellow tone and grows to approximately 10 to 20 cm, but specimens can grow to 30 cm.[2] In Scandinavian seas this species rarely grows larger than 15 cm.

This jellyfish has many stinging tentacles. The four mouth arms are large with many wrinkles and ripples.

um. ew?

love me,
the globetrotting gamine
