enhance your life: health edition

good morning, bloggie friends!

today is going to be a wonderful day...
and also one filled with posts because I am so far behind!

so here are baby steps, to enhance your life
and health
so that you are not feeling under the weather
while the weather is nutty...

  • discard *bad* things in your pantry (i.e. things with hight fruitcose corn syrup, shortenings, or any artificial sweeteners.)
  • increase omega-3 fatty acids in your diet. buy a supplement or add flax seeds (which you can find at your health food stores) to your diet.
  • try to walk, as much as you can.
  • eat as many servings of fruits and vegetables as you can
  • switch from coffee to green tea, or soda to green tea. put some honey in it. yum
  • buy a water filter or drink bottled water, as long as it's not chlorinated. i would recommend against bottled water because of the waste to the environment, so if you do: remember to recycle :)
  • don't listen to, watch, or read the news for one whole day and see how you feel!
  • make a list of friends who make you happy...and see them once a week!
  • listen to music that makes you happy
  • visit a museum
  • buy someone flowers :)
