waving goodbye to summer

dear summer,

well, you certainly are out of here as quickly as you've snuck up on us.
as sad as we are to see you go, we'd like to thank you for a few things:

last minute road trips...

visiting 3 casinos...

impromptu gatherings of friends

drinking wine in front of views like this one below...

experiencing sunsets unimaginable, like this one...

non-stop fireworks shows- no matter where we were!

and being crazy with family...

we ate great food,

and have many stories to tell.

we've celebrated birthdays and nothing at all.

we've watched movies and pranced through vineyards...

summer, you've served us well <3

weekend pennsylvania excursion

things were less crazy in the beginning of july. my husband (LML) and I took a weekend excursion down to Mt. Pocono, Pennsylvania. It is my happiest place.

Here are some photos I wanted to share with you, my bloggie friends, of the Mount Airy Casino (which they've revamped) and the adjacent golf course which is beauuuutiful. I wish the day was sunnier.

I don't have many pictures of our shopping at the outlets, but you get the gist. Next time we go up there, I will post more pics of activities. But at least, you have some ideas of the places you can hit during the spring/summer season <3

Because...LML will never horseback ride again. That's another story.
