m.i.a. renewal

being m.i.a. from a few avenues in my life seem to give me a new perspective on people, situations, routines...

for example: many people will have comments about you whether or not you do something.

do it anyway- wait, wasn't there a poem like this...?

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.


If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.


If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.


What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.


If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.


The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.


Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.


In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Mother Teresa was an awesome inspiration.
 
I fee as if the last line says it all- everything is between  you and God- or you and your psyche- or you and your universe. It was never between you and them.
 
Don't let other people bring you down- they will usually do so because their life isn't going right or they have turmoil unknown to you. After all, misery loves company.
 
I have found when you get rid of the misery- you find everything you could have ever hoped for- including a peaceful and much happier life.
 
So thanks, for being out there somewhere and reading this. I promise I will have more interesting posts soon ;)
